August 3, 2019 by Joan Breakey   Blog

Underarm body odour research provides names for some of the smells in underarm aromas. “There’s fishy, oniony, faecal, sour, even a bit floral, boar-like animal odour, cannabis-like as well as sulphurous” are smells named by a Belgian microbiologist Dr Christopher Callewaert. He has found that Staphylococcus epidermis is associated with pleasant or inoffensive smells, and a different Corynebacterum bug turns the output of the armpit’s sweat glands into volatile, that is smelly, compounds. He … [Read more...]

July 11, 2019 by Joan Breakey   Article

You do need to discuss this issue with the nurse who advises you before the procedure. Each practice is different. It is wise to let staff know a month before … [Read more...]

The Woolworths Original Rice Crackers taste as if they have a savoury salt but the label has "no added MSG". It does contain Maltodextrin from Corn with the usual ingredients of rice, sunflower oil and antioxidant 319. But after the ingredient list it then prints “may contain naturally occurring glutamates”. Another potentially useful product: the Woolworths canned … [Read more...]
